Why choose permanent make up?

Permanent make up is perfect for people who want to always look their best, everyday without the need for spending ages in front of the mirror.

Permanent cosmetics can help you achieve that perfectly applied make up look everyday.

Eyeliner can make your eyes look bigger and your lashes appear thicker.

Your lips can appear fuller and more youthful, you can even use permanent cosmetics to disguise scars from piercings etc.

Permanent eyebrows can also help to make your eyes appear larger whilst also making your brow line fuller and smoother giving your whole face a lift.

Whatever look you desire can be achieved with permanent cosmetics, giving you confidence and more self esteem, so you can then get on with your day without worrying about your make up, which would normally take you valuable time to apply.

Does it hurt when the permanent make up is applied?

That is a question that is often asked, it doesn’t hurt anymore than plucking your eyebrows, and by using the latest equipment it helps to eliminate any discomfort.

What does the consultation entail?

The initial consultation is always free, where we will discuss your exact requirements, we will talk about the colour, shape and look you desire. I will also go over the specific procedure for the treatment you are interested in so that you know exactly what to expect should you decide to go ahead and make an appointment.

How long will it take to apply the make up?

What we would do is make sure you are completely happy with the the procedure first and the whole procedure usually takes between 2 – 3 hours.

Why do I need to come back for a top up?

After approximately 4 – 6 weeks the skin will be fully healed from the procedure and we may need to re-apply to ensure the correct colour and perfect shape is achieved.

What if I am allergic?

Allergic reactions do not occur very often but I always use a skin patch test before the procedure to make sure you are not allergic to any of the pigment used for the final treatment.

How long will permanent cosmetics last?

The procedure is permanent but the pigment will fade over time, so I usually recommend a top up procedure every 12 – 18 months to ensure your make up looks as good as new.

What is the recovery time?

Initial healing time is around 7 days and you can then go about everyday activities without any problems, you may experience some swelling and redness around the treated areas but that will usually subside within a day or 2 after the initial treatment. The make up will appear darker immediately after it has been applied but this will then slightly fade to the intended colour. you would want to allow 4 – 6 weeks to ensure the skin is fully healed.
