From the red carpet to the catwalk, a number of top styles are becoming apparent and Professional hair stylists will note that the latest runway trend is ‘slicked sheen’.
The catwalk was has been overtaken by outstanding hair trends, with the best offerings coming from fashion giants Gucci, DKNY and Maxmara, according to Elle’s Georgia Collins.
“At DKNY, pretty ponies were knotted into position high at the back of the head while the front was slicked with shine,” she noted.
Ms Collins continued, telling Professional hair stylists that Emanuel Ungaro provided the perfect up ‘do in the form of a high ponytail slicked back with oil at the front, and the hair swept into a rope-style braid.
Maxmara went for the more sedate version of the trend, with the hair slicked at the top and flowing into loose waves, but notably most of the catwalk styles worked with long hair, whereas on the red carpet the summer crop seems to be taking precedent.
