Acne is a very common skin condition amongst teenagers and young adults, however it does not mean the rest of us are safe as it can occur at any stage. Doctors, specialists, surgeons have different opinions about Acne. The most common causes they highlight are clogged pores, Bacteria, excess oil and inflammation. Start controlling Acne by paying attention to your diet, as it may possibly be the simplest way. In the long term the positive results will begin to show. However some people do not agree, they say there is no direct relationship between our diet and Acne, while some others insist certain food can directly or indirectly cause Acne. Red meat and dairy products are enriched with proteins and take more time to digest. Waste products are released through the skin and hormones. Fizzy drinks, tea, coffee and chocolate contain caffeine and high consumption may influence Acne. Another main cause is Alcohol; it will increase the testosterone hormone and result in Acne. Walnuts, almonds, pistachios and peanuts can increase Acne, but this depends on the person. Some people may be affected and others may not. If you feel your acne is gets worse after the above food, stop immediately. Processed food is also no exception. Better avoid whenever possible
Plenty of fruits and vegetables will help control Acne. Fiber enriched food helps you not to get constipated; which can lead to excessive toxin release.Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily to control Acne. Green tea is also highly recommended. Green tea contains an anti – inflammatory chemical called catechin which helps to combat free radicals blueberries, raspberries, cranberries are all rich in photochemical that are protective of skin cells.
Along with these diet tips there are many treatments such as Benzoyl peroxide that can help to control acne. If you have scarring from acne there are various cosmetic treatments such as laser treatments that can reduce acne scars. Laser treatments are the easiest way to get rid of acne scars and are the best scar removal treatment. Cosmetic surgery can also be used to remove acne scarring, but this should be considered as a last option.
Some may say that the best treatment for Acne is natural treatment. Natural treatments and home remedies try and diminish acne without any adverse effects. As treatments evolve you should keep looking for free acne information on how to make it disappear so you can be free from acne forever. If your acne still cannot be controlled with your diet and gets worse then you should consult your doctor (dermatologist) to get a different treatment for Acne.
